Her award-winning research explores nursing’s historical leadership in botanical care across centuries and its translation into modern professional practice. She is the author of multiple books, including The Integrative Herb Guide for Nurses, a 900-page reference used in 17 countries. Dr. Libster developed the Tao of Integrative Nursing Assessment (TINA) practice model, integrating nursing theory and philosophy with traditional Chinese medicine’s Eight Principal Patterns framework to support Energetics-First assessment and Precision Self-care in contemporary nurse-herbalism—particularly at the advanced practice level.
