Position Description

Portland, Maine: A modern, team-based primary care practice is ready to welcome an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who values thoughtful, relationship-centered care. This progressive model features smaller patient panels, longer visits, strong staffing ratios, and a culture that empowers APPs to practice medicine the right way. Experience as a prescriber is required.

 

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient-only primary care in a collaborative, team-based clinical model
  • Join an established, growing practice with physicians and other APPs
  • Longer appointment times with no double-booking
  • One dedicated MA per provider, plus triage nurses and referral coordinators
  • Integrated on-site pharmacy with pharmacist support
  • AI-assisted documentation dramatically reduces administrative burden
  • Multidisciplinary care team includes pharmacists, nurses, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and MAs
  • Flexibility to refer patients to any hospital system based on cost, convenience, and expertise
