A leading hospital-based neurosurgery program in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Surgical Lead supporting both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical services.

This leadership-focused role combines clinical practice with APP team supervision, making it ideal for an experienced provider with prior lead or supervisory experience in neurosurgery or neurology.

Position Highlights

• $100,000–$120,000 salary

• Four 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neurosurgical patient care

• Supervise and mentor APP team members

• Lead staffing, scheduling, and recruitment efforts

• Support performance management and compliance

• Serve as liaison between physicians, administration, and APPs

• Maintain efficient clinical operations and workflow

• Perform clinical shifts to support patient volume

Qualifications

• Active Georgia NP license

• 4+ years of neurosurgery, neurology, or related experience

• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred

• AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, FNP, DNP or similar certification

• Strong leadership and operational skills
