Position Description

A hospital-based Wound Care program in Covington, Georgia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a Monday–Friday position with no call, offering strong work-life balance and collaborative practice alongside experienced physicians.

The NP will manage a wide range of wound types including diabetic ulcers, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, graft sites, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy cases. Ideal for providers with 1–3 years of experience in wound care, acute care, or chronic disease management who enjoy procedural and longitudinal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic wounds

• Treat diabetic ulcers, vascular wounds, and surgical wounds

• Support hyperbaric oxygen therapy patients

• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies

• Perform minor procedures and wound assessments

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active Georgia NP license

AGACNP, FNP, or AGNP preferred

• 1–3 years wound care or relevant clinical experience

• Strong clinical documentation skills (EPIC experience a plus)

Schedule & Compensation

$75,000–$85,000 annual salary

• Monday–Friday | No call

• Inpatient & outpatient mix

• Comprehensive benefits + CME allowance
