Position Description

Brewer, Maine: A respected community health center system serving multiple counties across mid-Maine invites a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Same-Day Care team supporting primary care patients in the greater Bangor region. This is an excellent opportunity for a mission-driven provider who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering needed care without managing your own patient panel.

You will also help support continuity of care during provider transitions and absences, maintaining access and stability for patients across the practice.

Providers who thrive in dynamic clinical environments and value teamwork, flexibility, and patient-centered care will find this role especially rewarding. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will benefit from a supportive onboarding experience designed to build confidence and support clinical growth.

This progressive organization is part of Maine’s largest FQHC and community health system, employing nearly 1,000 professionals, including more than 200 clinical providers, across 17 service locations. Brewer sits directly across the Penobscot River from Bangor, forming a combined community that functions as a regional hub for healthcare, education, and commerce while maintaining short commutes and a welcoming small-city atmosphere.
